Holiday Soirée Sunday Dec 3, 4-7 Day two of a Hometown Holiday Weekend 

Music, trees and caroling!

Our village’s Christmas Trees, decorated by local businesses, clubs and organizations, are displayed in front of the VFW, Village Hall and along both sides of Main Street once again this year. 

At 4:30 pm on Sunday December 3rd, Santa and Mrs Claus will light the Christmas Tree at the base of Main Street and be available for a chat, a snuggle and photos. Holiday themed performances by the GET Popular Music Ensembles will accompany and follow the ceremony. Everyone is invited to sing along and partake in that warm holiday glow with family, friends and neighbors. 

Numerous local businesses will be open for browsing, visiting and refreshments that afternoon and evening. Take a stroll and check out the more than twenty decorated trees. Folks can cast a vote (or three) for their favorite trees with ballot coupons. These can be bought for a dollar each at most of the sponsoring businesses. Voting will take place Dec 3rd only. 

The tree brings in the most tickets/votes, will receive a trophy and bragging rights for an entire year. ALL proceeds from the voting go to the GET Band. We hope you are able to join us!
